Molly Molofsky

Molly loves to cook. She loves cooking so much she pivoted from nutritional coaching services and launched her personal chef services. When Molly came to The Copy Word, we spent some time getting to know her clients, focussing on what they wanted from a personal chef, not necessarily what they needed. The result? Molly had some major breakthroughs around speaking her clients language.

We developed a video script that was powerful, clear, and captivating.  Molly's services sold out. In fact she's fully booked this year with a waitlist of clients. 

The icing on the chia seed pudding? Molly was able to splice out the video script and repurpose it for other content too!

She Speaks Sales

Shawna Beckmann of She Speaks Sales has a unique background with an unconventional sales style. Her first hand experience in crisis line advocacy,  and approaching grieving families for donation moments after their loved ones had died has given her an ethical heart-centered approach to selling.

However, Shawna wasn't closing sales herself. After a session with Elizabeth, we discovered Shawna was trying to sell the wrong service to the wrong market.

Aimed with her new found market research, we developed a new offer with a new message to a new audience and Shawna launched her done-for-you full sales service agency.

Shawna rewrote the copy under Elizabeth and in three weeks booked herself out with a full roster of dream clients.

The best part? Shawna quit all the complicated systems, funnels, email lists, Facebook groups. Her ideal client shows up on my website and 10 out of 10 times they're gushing about it on our phone call, already pre qualified with zero headache.

Mint Lighting

Mint Lighting have an amazing lighting service that's totally unique to the residential market. This posed a challenge because their ideal clients struggled to understand what Mint did and why they needed them.   

Mint has always had a pretty good hit rate to the website and socials, but it just wasn’t converting into sales.  

We took Adele's passion and real life personality and turned it into language their clients love!

The number of “your website resonated with me” “I read your website and I just knew you were the perfect designer for me” comments have been off the hook. Clients are calling up 100% sold on our services and ready to book.

Struggle: Selling a unique service clients didn't know they were looking for.

Lyndal Carmichael Photography

Lyndal always found it super intimidating writing about her own business, herself + her art. Her biggest worry was writing about herself without going to wank-town. Her words, not ours.

I spurted some anxious word vomit at the the lovely Elizabeth and she acted as decoder, voice of reason and copywriter.

Communication is my biggest weakness so trying to explain what I was hoping for was tricky but Elizabeth just ‘got it’.

Going through the process was painless, and easier than Lyndal anticipated. The end result was a website written with a tone of voice that captured her true personality.

The bonus? Lyndal was also about to repurpose the website copy into emails, brochures + social media. Go Lyndal!

Sugar Design Studios

Casey isn't just an incredible Graphic Designer, she's world class trained and worked with Fortune 500 companies.  Suffice to say, Casey's experience should naturally slay the competition.

But that's not what was happening. Prior to us working together, Casey was wading through not-so-ideal clients at a very slow rate. 

That changed after we relaunched her site with brand new copy that positioned Sugar Studios as a premium, classic design studio. 

Since the launch, Casey's been steadily growing a portfolio of dream clients by 10-30% each month. She's getting a lot more enquiries and the clients are completely in line with the type of work she loves doing.

Basically, she's getting dream projects left and right.

The bonus: Casey was able to use the copy we wrote beyond the website. She was able to use a lot of the incredible statements we wrote for my social media marketing, getting her marketing message out into the world clearly.

Ash Topham

Ashleigh Topham is a Facebook ads genius. She's shy so she won't admit it but we'll happily declare that Ash gets the best conversions in the business.

In fact, she's so talented that her own Facebook ads were growing her email list of warm leads like wild fire.

The issue: the people joining her list were not buying anything!

Only two things were holding her back from turning her list into consistent paying clients: her message and her emails.

We crafted an email welcome series that made Ash approachable while still being seen as an expert in her industry. 

We baked in an approachable, friendly brand voice into her message and wrote 8 emails welcoming her new leads into her world.

Ash implemented the copy and got clients reaching out excited to throw money at her.

Ash generated $28,400 in 2 months of implementation.

The Madness Planner

Jocelyn, the creator of The Madness Planner was born with big dreams, a rebellious streak and zero sense of time. All these traits meant she did not play nice with traditional methods of planning and goal setting.

Fast forward to her first real job, Jocelyn found herself spinning her wheels. She worked all the time but never felt like she got anything done. It was time to stop waiting for her future to come and find her and start creating her future now. 

She started buying planners but nothing worked so as the story goes, she woke up one morning and decided to make her own planner.

One that makes space for contradiction, messiness, the every-changing mind + moods, but still has just enough structure to move you closer to what you truly want - on your own terms - madness intact. 

Inspired by the idea of the Mad Ones with the desire to live fully and as themselves, this planner guides you based on what is truly important to you so you don’t get lost in the to-dos + should dos + miss all the magic.

Goal: To translate the ideology + personality of the planner in a clear, concise, and refreshing way.

Struggle: Not being clear + agonising over picking the perfect copy.

Clare had grand business vision and an action plan that wasn't getting results. 

AFter our initial call it was obvious Clare was clogging up her to do list with unnecessary tasks. We set Clare's core goals and cut the fat. We implemented an operating system with repeatable patterns she could follow with ease.
