The One Thing I Stopped Doing In Business Because I Hated It

I’ve finally got proof.

That I can give the finger to every single internet marketer who’s told me I need to live stream to increase engagement, build rapport + get all that organic reach that’s good for business health.

Because bitch, my regular old ass posts have been getting way way way more of that organic engagement than any live stream I’ve ever done.

I don’t care if you’re argument is live streaming let’s you connect to your community in a ‘authentic way.’

It’s anything but authentic to me.

For the last few months, I’ve been trying to force myself to live stream.

And I’ve hated it.

I’ve hated every fucking second of it.

There’s just so much unnecessary crap talking.

There's just so much time wasting

When you could just edit.

And cut to the core.

I’m not in the business of shit talking.

It’s not what I stand for.

I’m a copywriter.

A wordsmith.

A communication stylist.

A comedy writer.

A screenwriter.

I’m all about playing with the word combinations to express myself.

And that’s exactly what I did two and a bit weeks ago when I got on the plane to India.

And let me tell you what happened.

Pure magic.

And proof.

That live streaming isn’t the lifeblood of your business.

Because I can’t even do Facebook the stock standard way.

It grinds me into a shell of myself.

Another declaration.

Another reminder.

Another moment to check in and see.

Is this my way?

Hell fucking no.

Goodbye live streaming.

Hello, creativity my way.

Expression my way.

Doing business my way.

Because honestly,

When you just do what you want, it’s pure magic.

The rest, is just a struggle sandwich filled with shit.
